A drawing tree’s in Oxleas Woods, and ancient woodland on Shooters Hill, South East London. It was known to be where highwaymen hid in the woods to raid the precious goods from the coaches on travelling along the Watling Road, from Dover, through London and leading to the North West. These exploits are mentioned in the first page of the Charles Dickens novel, A Tale of Two Cities.

Bacon & Egg I

Drawing that became the initial part of a series in homage to Francis Bacon and his paintings, particularly; Three Studies for Figures at the Base of a Crucifixion.
In creating this piece, I embraced geometric and semi-abstract motifs to channel dynamic energy and emotion, captures the intense interplay of form and space, breathing life into the abstract figures. This drawng is an exploration of emotional depth through simple, yet profound shapes, designed to provoke introspection and elevate any living space with its spirited vibe.
